HERRIMAN — The City of Herriman published information for the 2026 general election, which it said will take place Tuesday, Nov. 3, and is administered by Salt Lake County 1.
Active registered voters automatically receive a ballot in the mail, the city states 1. Ballots may be returned at a ballot drop box, at an Election Day Vote Center, or through the mail, and must be received by the Salt Lake County Clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day, according to the city's notice, which says voters returning a ballot by mail should allow enough time for delivery 1. Voters may also cast a ballot in person at an early voting location or an Election Day Vote Center, it states 1.
The regular voter registration deadline is Oct. 23 at 5 p.m., the notice states, and same-day registration is available to eligible voters who vote in person 1.
The city encouraged residents to review their voter registration information and become familiar with the election's dates and voting options before Election Day 1. It directed residents to the Salt Lake County Elections website and to Utah's official voter information website for the latest information about ballot drop boxes, early voting locations, Election Day Vote Centers and deadlines 1. Residents can check their registration status, update their information and register to vote through the State of Utah, the city said 1.
